Evasion plus one

in one dream, I started out arrested in cuffs (for what idk) but then i was like yo im dreaming fuck this arrested shit. so i just use my mind to melt the cuffs off when the cops went in the other room. Then i willed myself through the wall and could hear them like "wtf just happened" (the cops were elliot stabler and oliva benson from the svu show..which wtf man)

: then i was freeeee
: so before they could see me out the window i ran to safety. then was like my skin is now tan, my hair is now black, i have shades in my pocket. -bam bam bam- it all instantly happened as i said it.
: spoke that shit into existence. Then I was like there is a pink car with girls in it about to pick me up.
: "honk honk" look to my right, there they were, i just get in."
: the driver was like "hey girls this is the man i was talking about" one of the chicks says from the back seat "soooo is he just an ordinary boy or an extrordinary man"
: i reply, im pretty extrodinary these days but i wasnt always ;)

they giggle. then the girl sitting in the middle with glazed over eyes and huge pupils was telling me about a new drug she is trying and how i should try it. i was like nope, im good. then the dream fazzed out and i woke up at some random time in the night.

Love, life, and liberty are things we must fight for.

The dream started at some party, we were all watching a movie or something. There were 4 or 5 of us on a couch with a blanket over us. There was a woman who was sitting next to / sorta on top of me and I think her significant other was sitting next to us like 3 people down. I feel like everyone was drinking except the girl and I. I was stroking her thigh softly and discretely as if her and I had something going on.

After the movie went off she asked me if I could help her get some more party refreshments from a house across the street. So I did, expecting to make passionate love to this girl, we ran up the stairs but when we got there she got something out of a closet and handed It to me in a hurry. It was a chocolate rabbit that had a goodbye message written in it but she wouldn't speak. Then she started pushing me out of the door saying just go. I tried to stop her and grab her face to kiss her, but it didn't matter, it was goodbye. She was never mine anyways. As we were walking down the stairs she was hanging onto my back not wanting to let go. Once we got to the bottom of the stairs I turned her around and she asks, "Is nothing fair?!" and I replied, "NO! Love, Life and Liberty you have to fight for." We kissed passionately and I woke up.. And here I am typing this dream down.

Sometimes goodbye IS forever, which is why I hate saying it and always say see ya or have fun instead.

Indian love and killer furbies

The first dream I remember walking around outside this old brick fortress. The setting was sort of post apocalyptic perhaps, but definitely great depression like. There was dirty people all around this fortress in tent camps. Well  I found this hole and asked someone who ws with me to check in it and make sure there wasn't anything of value. He checked and as he was checking, and Indian (Indian from India) teenager jumped in, snatched a book, some papers, and what appeared to be a large pink diamond shaped like a heart and started running out. So I chased after him. He threws some documents and papers into the fire. I snatched them out of the fire and continued to chase him.

He arrives at his part of the tent city where he hands this sacred book to the elder. At this point i'm really really curious whats in the book. Since I saved the other documents from certain doom in the fire the old man didnt force me to leave. As luck would have it those pieces i saved were actually really important to the book, so the man shared some of the information with me. It was a treasure map, but not one to normal treasure, but with a treasure in self. A way to use ones Chakras to open a door with in oneself to travel through dimensions. Then he got his extremely beautiful daughter to perform the ritual on me.

First the man handed her a vial of bright pink, oily substance which she dotted on the back of my right hand. I accidently rubbed some of the pink stuff on the guy next to me's clothes, and she reapplied it. Then she dotted the back of my right elbow, then the center of my chest, then my throat, then my forehead, then the back of my left elbow, then my left hand. I was asked to concentrate all of these areas into a door way in front of me. All the while i could hear the elder man chanting something he was reading from the book while the world started pulsing in with magical bright colors. Instead of leaving that plane it was like the girl who was putting these markings on me kept coming in complete focus. I could feel unconditional yearning, and a turmoil of boiling love inside my being for her.

Then the experience had stopped but the smitten aura was still encompassing me like warm water in a bath. I wanted her to be in my arms. I needed her to be in my arms. She invited me into her tent and we just sat down in the floor holding hands, and she offered me some food. It was a roasted pig and I was surprised because pigs were a really hard to find sort of food in the desperate times we were in. Then the dream fadded by my longing for her remained into the next dream, and even now.

-insert unchained melody here-

Then the next dream was rather odd. There was this magical furby that kept comming back to life and i kept killing it. Oh and the whole time the furby had a body like chuck norris. And my partner who was trying to kill it with me was bruce lee. I even put the furby in a headlock that i know he couldnt breathe in. Sob kept living tho. Then i woke up. Thinking, wtf was that all about.

The other dream was way more awesome to me so. I remembered more about it. That and i think i forgot about the second dream even tho its the one i just woke up from, simply because i used all my dream recall on the first dream allowing the second dream to slip away. Either way, i like the first one better.

How to Meditate

  1. Make time to meditate. Put aside atleast 10-20 minutes of time aside from your daily routine for meditation. The effects of meditation are evident when you meditate regularly, some like to meditate at the end the day by clearing their mind, and some prefer to find refuge in meditation in the middle of a busy day. Generally, however, the easiest time to meditate is in the morning, before the day tires your body out and gives your mind more to think about.
  2. Find or create a quiet, relaxing environment for meditation. It's especially important, when just begining, to avoid any obstacles to attention. Turn off any TV sets, phone or other noisy appliances. If you play music, make sure it's calm, repetitive and gentle, so as not to break your concentration. Meditating outside can be conducive, as long as you don't sit near a busy roadway or another source of loud noise.
  3. Sit on level ground. Sit on a cushion if the ground is uncomfortable. You don't have to twist your limbs into the half lotus or full lotus position or adopt any unusual postures. The important thing is to keep your back straight, as this will help with breathing later on.
  4. Relax everything, and keep searching for things that aren't relaxed. When you find them, (and you will), relax them. You may find that you can't relax them unless you adjust your posture so that you are better aligned, and that place doesn't need to work anymore. This commonly happens with muscles near your spine. You may also notice that you are twisted a little and need to straighten out. Little muscles in your face often keep getting tense, too.
  5. Let your attention rest on the flow of your breath. Listen to it, follow it, but make no judgments on it (such as "It sounds a little raspy...maybe I'm getting a cold?"). The goal is to allow the "chattering" in your mind to gradually fade away. Find an "anchor" to settle your mind.
  6. Silence your mind. Once you've trained your mind to focus on just one thing at a time, the next step is focus on nothing at all, essentially "clearing" your mind. This requires tremendous discipline but is the pinnacle of meditation. After focusing on a single point as described in the previous step, you can either cast it away, or observe it impartially and let it come and then go, without labeling it as "good" or "bad". Take the same approach to any thoughts which return to your mind until silence perseveres.

Imaginary friend of a schizophrenic

The series of dreams started with my awareness coming together in a baby delivery room. This makes sense because my woman and I will be having our first baby due July 21st. Anyways, in the dream, Heather wasnt having the baby we were just in there watching other woman have theirs. Then i decided to go explore this area and i woke up in a very large gymnasium where their was a bunch of children playing various sports. I seen some children wrestling, and because I was a wrestler myself I walked over and started talking. That dream faded and the next thing i know Heather and I were walking in the middle of some muddy looking field. This field had a wooden fence all the way around it. A few minutes into the walk I noticed we were walking on a farm. We came up to a really big white barn. There was a man in the barn loading up barrels with various types of farm things. In order to get from one side of the barn to the other, we had to navigate through a wooden labyrinth.. and It was nuts.

So I went back to sleep because I was still tired and had an amazing dream. The dream started out with some elaborate event thats just not really clear to me anymore. But in the dream, time rewound, and i realized that the elaborate thing that happened was the manifestation of a schizophrenic man (played by Jonah Hill) and then i realized that I was an imaginary friend of that schizophrenic man. I could see reality as it was in his mind and reality as it really was. In reality the "real" reality i didnt exist and Jonah Hill was a homeless schizophrenic. In his mind we were important business executive (spies perhaps) because i faintly remember an explosion in the first event. Anyways. The events would manifest as he found things on the road. He found a name womans name badge, and then I seen him change into that woman. At the same time though, he was still himself, the homeless crazy guy, and I was still the same imaginary being. Next thing I know we are in a corporate building walking up some white marble stairs and into glass and marble elevator. The elevator was huge with like 10 doors and buttler's guarding those doors. The buttons were made of gold and illuminated blue with the names of various corporate entities above the doors. We pressed alot of buttons and the elevator butlers didnt really seem to mind. Then i felt the elevator elevate to a floor. We got off the elevator and I realized we were on the Womens Cancer floor. Then I seen him signing into one of the computers with the badge and I walked into a lab to look at research. Then we walked into a dodecagonally shaped maroon velvet room that I couldnt get out of. Each side of the room had one button that open a really small elevator door, unlike the really large illuminated elevator from the previous elevator, these ones were really dark with only a few buttons. Then one of the doors opened up and a man walked out then into a hallway that appeared out of no where. I asked him before he got out of sight if the elevator would take me to the bottom floor. We got into the elevator and i pressed the button and we took off. It felt like we were free falling.  When we reached the bottom, the doors opened into the lobby and I was woken up by a guest arriving at my house.

Beginners Guide To Lucid Dreaming

I think i'm going through a dream deprivation. The passed few nights my dreams have seemed to elude me right upon waking. I have a few glimpses of what I dreamed of, but not enough to really make a clear post about. SO instead of that, I will write a Beginner's Guide to Lucid Dreaming.
This blog post examine some easy lucid dreaming techniques, that guide most people with their first lucid dream and will take between 3 days and 3 weeks.
I have put as much information into this  Beginner's Guide to Lucid Dreaming as I possibly can, so don't worry if you feel overwhelmed. Just take it slow.
First, my name is Christopher Franko. I've been lucid dreaming since I was 13 years old. Over the last 13 years I have spent alot of time researching dream control. I have learned many different lucid dream techniques and developed a few of my own ways to become lucid and stay lucid in the dream world for longer, allowing me to have many fantastic lucid dream experiences

Step 1 - Improve Your Dream Recall

Dream recall is really important and you should improve your dream recall so that you remember at least one dream every night (and preferably more). The best way to do this is to remind yourself regularly, "I will remember my dreams", especially just before you go to sleep. This will put the intention to remember your dreams in your subconscious.
I recommend keeping a dream journal by the bedside so you can write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. Right before you actually get up though, take the time to go over all of the details of the dream a time or two even before you open you eyes, this way your recall will be more implanted into your memory. Also discuss your dreams with friends as often as you can, to really soldifigy the message that dreaming is really important to you and must be remembered.

Step 2 - Perform Frequent Reality Checks

A very easy lucid dreaming exercise, reality checking is the secret weapon of those who want to start with Dream Initiated Lucid Dreams (DILDs). If you have ever seen the movie "inception" they accomplish this with tools they call totems. Either way. It works. By doing reality checks frequently  throughout your waking day, you will enhance your awareness of waking life and be much more likely to recognize that small changes of reality that happen during dreams. An example is, reading text, and flicking a light on and off. Because in a dream, both of those things (though not impossible) are difficult at times. Soon you will spontaneously perform a reality check in a dream, exposing the nature of the dream reality and giving you instant dream control.

Step 3 - Learn To Meditate

Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains his or her mind or induces a mode of consciousness to realize some benefit. Meditation is generally an inwardly oriented, personal practice, which individuals do by themselves. When you meditate, you have the chance to experience some amazing phenomena, including hallucinations, euphoria and epiphany. Meditation tunes you in to your waking life on new levels, and helps you feel more at peace.
Research has linked meditation with easy lucid dreaming for several reasons. First, meditation trains you to enter altered states of awareness on demand. Secondly, meditation bridges the gap between your conscious and unconscious brain. And third, meditation makes you more self-aware, helping you to recognize the unreality of the dream world hence you become lucid in a dream more often. You can find some good beginners guides to meditation all over the internet, so give it a google!

Step 4 - Lucid Dream Research

If you are serious about having lucid dreams on the regular then you need to do research. It can help you find the best induction methods for you, and will help you learn easy ways to control and explore your lucid dream world. If you don't know the ropes, the whole process takes a lot longer to learn. I have also discovered that, if I am researching lucid dreams, the research is like priming my mind to become lucid that night. So you are essentially telling yourself, dreams are important, lucid dreams are more important, and this is what I want to accomplish when I wake up.
This part is easy. Lucid dreaming has become increasingly popular with books, websites, forums and even appearing in mainstream media now. The more you think about lucid dreams during the day, the more likely you are to become lucid in your dreams at night. The more you understand about this amazing mind phenomenon, the sooner you will take to it.

Step 5 - Discover Advanced Methods

Once you get yourself into a regular routine with lucid dreaming techniques, like dream journaling and reality checking, it's time to begin more involved methods. Get ready for some acronyms.
So far, I have only offered methods for Dream Induced Lucid Dreams (where you start dreaming normally and become lucid from within the dreamstate). The most popular type of DILD is called Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD), created by Stephen LaBerge. I recommend starting out on this route, because DILDs often give way to spontaneous lucid dreams.
There is also a whole other category known as Wake Induced Lucid Dreams (WILDs). These were originally developed by Tibetan Buddhists in the form of Dream Yoga, which involves training yourself to go directly from waking to a lucid dream state. It involves falling asleep consciously and induces some strange phenomena linked with the out of body experience (OBE).
So there it is - easy lucid dreaming for beginners. Of course, a beginner's guide is only the start. Once you have found some effective ways to become lucid, you will have more questions about controlling and working with the alternate reality of lucid dreams. But that is another article altogether...

Smoking a Cigarette at Grandmas House

As the title suggest. The dream wasn't very exciting. The dream coalesced in my grandmas backyard. I was underneath their gazebo cleaning off their gazebo furniture. For some reason I was smoking a cigarette and thoroughly enjoying that cigarette. I remember lifting up the lining to some of the furniture and washing it down with the gold water from the hose and scrubbing the dirt off with a Brillo pad while my grandfather watched sipping lemonade and telling me how good i was doing. My grandma  said, "Chris you don't need to be smoking those cigarettes, if I can quit, anyone can." I replied, "Ya know, i'm not even sure why i'm smoking this cigarette because I don't even smoke.." Then my mom chimed in. "He says he doesn't smoke but i always see him with a cigarette, so i'm not really sure why he says that." Excitedly i explained. "I dont! I swear, Ask Heather!!!" Then the dream faded and i woke up to tell Heather of my dream. She laughed and here I am telling you about it.
